European Certificate of Psychotherapy Counselling
An European wide standard for psychotherapeutic councelling education and
training
The European Association for Counselling Profession has established the European Certificate of
Psychotherapeutic Counselling to ensure the standardisation of the profession of Counselling
throughout Europe.
The European Certificate of Psychotherapeutic Counselling (ECPC) was established to create a
comprehensive Europe wide standard for the profession of Counselling.  It ensures equal
standards of education and training across Europe.
The ECPC is awarded by EACP on application to psychotherapy Counsellors who’s counselling education
conforms to the EACP standard.

Apply for an ECPC
There are two possible ways to apply for an ECPC, one way is the Direct Award (DA) through
one of the EACPTI-European Acreditation Conselling Training Institute (ovo može biti

Grandparenting procedure that involves recommendation from EACP National Awarding
Organization (NAO) and European Wide Awarding Organization (EWAO).
